Reilly to Lead Cavan NY in 2010

Cavan Football club had their AGM recently with some very familiar names returning to lead the club in the new season. Rosie O'Reilly returns as Chairperson for the new year with Mike Reilly the Senior Football manager. The senior football side had moderate success last year when they reached the quarter final before losing to eventual County Champions Down by three points. With a side that had five New York panelists in Kevin McGeeney, Conor Brady, Brendan Reilly, Alan Caralan, and Paddy Tomo Smith along side Galway senior and under 21 panelist Johnaton Ryan, Kerry panelist Kieran OLeary and former All Ireland minor winner Martin O'Connor from Derry, the senior side made a late surge after a slow start before bowing out to the Mournemen. The 2010 panel has serious aspirations for success this year in New York. Under Mike Reilly the club won the NY Senior B title in 2008 and the return to the helm of the Queens business man will bode well for the new season.
