Under 16 League Round Up
On Wednesday 25th June Tir Chonaill Gaels played champion favourites Parnells in a thrilling match in Green ford. Parnells running out easy winners by 7 points. The margin could have been bigger but for the heroic saves by the Gaels keeper Ryan Kearney. Others who shone for the Gaels were David Kennedy and Sean Butler. Parnells had some outstanding players in Daniel Somers, Jack Ryan and Chris Chambers.
On Saturday 28th June, the Gaels played a very spirited Thomas McCurtains in Greenford and won the match with a few points to spare. At half time the Gaels were ahead and had to face the second half without their two most influential players Liam Gavigan and Michael Keating as they had to rush to Ruislip to assist the reserves in the McArdle Cup. After starting the second half the Gaels were forced into more hardship after their full back Philip Butler had to leave the field due to a back injury. However, Martin Scanlon came to the rescue and helped secure a win. Well done to all of the lads for their excellent performance and thank you to all our supporters!

Best of luck to Seamus Harley Assistant Club Secretary who is travelling to Argentina for 6 months to do charity work, his hard work will be sorely missed at the club. Good Luck Seamus.
