St Kierans club notes

St Kiernan's held the club's underage awards Night last Friday night 2nd December in Edgware. It was a fitting end to a wonderful season with all players from U6 to U16 receiving a presentation with the U16 All Britain Championship and London Championship cups taking pride of place along with the four senior cups including the London Senior Championship silverware sitting on the stage. Special guests on the night were two members of our senior team Michael Donoghue and Brendan Mulrooney who have come up through the club's underage structure and they presented all the young players with their Awards. The individual Awards went to the following players,

 

U10 Most Improved Player - Kieran Lee. 

U10 Player of the Year - Orla O Donnell. 

 

U12 Most Improved Player - Olivier Cook. 

U12 Player of the Year - Egan Ngnea. 

 

U14 Most Improved Player - Joseph O Connor. 

U14 Player of the Year - Michael English. 

 

U16 Most Improved Player - Sean Kirwin. 

U16 Player of the Year - Niall Duggan. 

 

A big thank you to all the coaches for their hard work and efforts throughout the year and all the parents for their continuous support.  A special thank you to all who sponsored various items throughout the season. 

 

All roads next Sunday 11th December lead to Greenford were our senior team will take on the Ulster Champions Slaughtneil of Derry in the All Ireland Senior Club Quarter Final with a throw in time of 1pm. The club would like to see all its supporters out in force to support the boys in their quest to progress in what is uncharted territory for the club.  Looking forward to seeing you all in Greenford shouting on the boys.
