Our Reserve team had a great victory over North London Shamrocks on last Wednesday evening in a league and championship double header. Final score was Parnells 1-12 NLS 1-04. We have another Reserve championship match this Wednesday evening at 7pm in Northwick Park.

Our Senior team played their second championship match against one of this years hot favourites - Neasdens Gaels. A poor start to the game meant we were trailing 1-05 to 0-01, but a bit of a Parnells fightback left a halftime scoreline of 1-06 to 1-02. An early goal in the second half for Neasden left us with an uphill battle, but battle we did. A spirited and determined display by every man in a Parnells' jersey ensued and in truth we were unlucky not to end the game with a victory. Every player was outstanding and credit must go to the management for some inspired tactics. Final score was Parnells 2-08 Neasden Gaels 2-08. We play Tara on Sunday (15th) in the final Group game of the Championship where a draw will guarantee a place in the semi finals. The game is fixed for 3pm in Ruislip and your support would be greatly appreciated.

Training:-
Training continues as per usual on Tuesday and Thursday evening at Northwick Park.

New Players:-
Parnells are a very open and welcoming club, with people from every province representing the club. We welcome new members and players from all levels of ability. We have a full underage structure at the club as well as a Senior Ladies Team. We train and also play games at:-

The ground has full changing facilities as well as floodlights. Northwick Park is served by the Metropolitan line at Northwick Park, the Bakerloo Line at South Kenton and London Overground (Euston to Watford) at South Kenton. We have players travelling to training from areas such as Harrow, Finchley, Kingsbury, Neasden, Ealing, Brentford, Clapham, Waltham Cross, Wembley, Ruislip, etc. so getting a lift is also an easy option.
