London hurling manager Brendan Bolger
London hurling manager Brendan Bolger believes that his players have the desire and belief to lift this year's Nicky Rackard Cup. The exiles have cruised through to the semi final and are red hot favourites to see off either Louth or Fingal for a place in the decider. With Martin Finn and Kevin McMullan leading the scoring charts and a number of other players including former Meath hurler Fergus McMahon improving the standard of hurling for London, there is a genuine belief that they can lift the title. Meath will pose their biggest threat in this competition, but Bolger is confident that they work being done will see them qualify for the Christy Ring Cup next year. "Our appetite has increased. We really want to get to a Nicky Rackard Cup final. Had we lost (Roscommon), it would have meant another game next weekend, so we've made things a little bit easier for ourselves."
