The Tara's had a great day out at the Under 10/8 St Kiernans Blitz on Sunday 14th of June 2009.

The team consisted of Aidan Harte, Darragh Mahon, James Fennelly, Colm Mc Sheffrey, Padraig Kevane, Tom Angland, Ciaran Guinnelly and Thomas Hunter. There were many great moves on the day completed by all the players that helped to clock up many scores though what was noted is that they strong signs of being a team to be reckoned with in the future.
The Under 10 B team had a few fixtures through the day which seen them win one and lose two against Thomas McCurtains and St Kiernans both games were lost by the narrowest of margins so no player should feel disheartened. The panel consisted of Oisin Bradley, Luke Horgan, Colm Ahearne, Martin Supple, Cian Kevane, Sean Scanlon, Liam Rawson, Conor O'Mara, Eoin O'Donnell and Ronan who hadn't played in a tournament before but managed to find slotting between the posts a breeze.

The final round of the League was played out at home on Sunday 14th June against Tir Chonaill Gaels. Well done to all the boys but despite a great performance were the losers on the day. Man of the Match goes to James Carry at full-back. Congratulations to the boys chosen to represent London Under 14 panel: James Carry, Liam Scott, Sean Gartlan, Jodi Mc Guckin and Conor Tyler.
The U15 girls managed by Gemma Tracey, Senior Tara Ladies player, were out at Greenford on Saturday 13 June. Gemma reported back on the huge improvement seen in all the players particularly Katherine Walsh and Orla Mc Loughlin. A great day was had by all the girls. The final game of the day was the London U14 Girls panel v the Best of the rest. Congratulations to Hannah Tracey on being selected to represent London on the U14 panel. The girls training session on a Friday night at John Billam sports Ground continues to be a huge success with 30 girls participating.
