Tyrone to seek hearing

The Tyrone County Board has confirmed that it is to seek an immediate hearing into the Ulster Council's decision to strip them off the 2007 McKenna Cup.
Although the O'Neill County chiefs are still awaiting official confirmation of the reasons behind the Council's decision, they are to go ahead with an appeal.
Tyrone have been punished because of irregularities with their team-sheet and not, apparently, because the team included third-level college players in its ranks.
"Apparently it's got nothing to do with the students," said Tyrone chairman Pat Darcy.
"We'll be seeking a hearing within the next three days."
