MULLAHORAN (CAVAN) 1-7

Errigal Ciaran comfortably disposed of Cavan's Mullahoran in the Ulster Club SFC at Kingspan/Breffni Park yesterday but the game was overshadowed by the arrest of a supporter of the Tyrone club at half-time.

Gardai intervened after abuse was directed at the Mullahoran players during the interval.

Meanwhile, Mullahoran's recently crowned World handball champion Paul Brady received a straight red card following an off-the-ball incident with Stefan Tierney just nine minutes after his introduction as a substitute in the 22nd minute.

Errigal Ciaran led by 2-6 to 1-3 at the break and outscored their hosts by 2-9 to 0-4 in the second half.

The Tyrone representatives now advance to a quarter-final meeting with Derry champions Ballinderry.
