Sheedy set for Tyrone visit
May 10, 2012
Former Tipperary All-Ireland winning manager Liam Sheedy will host a hurling development day on Saturday May 12th.
The event will be held at Killyclogher and Sheedy will be assisted by national coach Paudie Butler throughout the day.
County Board Chairman Ciaran McLaughlin stated to the Tyrone GAA website: "The aim of this programme is to significantly increase the participation and enjoyment of playing and learning the game of hurling for children between the ages of 7 and 13 years of age.
"If we can do that then we've achieved something tangible and something that can be built upon. We're delighted to have two men of the calibre of Liam Sheedy and Paudie Butler involved".
