Tyrone's Aidan McCrory is carried off injured
Tyrone manager Mickey Harte has confirmed that the injury sustained by Aidan McCrory in yesterday's Allianz Football League Division 2 final loss to Kildare isn't serious.

The Errigal Ciaran defender was treated on the pitch for almost 10 minutes after an awkward fall following a collision with Kildare full forward Tomas O'Connor late in the first half and was subsequently stretchered off.

But Harte was happy to confirm afterwards: "Aidan McCrory is okay thank God. It's just that he was getting some pins and needles down his arm and medial expertise says you don't let a player play on when that's happening. It was a precaution really to take him off.

"He went down and Tomas O'Connor fell on him. So that was causing the stress in his arm."

The Red Hands can ill-afford to suffer any more injuries after forwards Kyle Coney, Ronan O'Neill and Tommy McGuigan were recently ruled out for the rest of the season.
