A total of eleven players have had bans proposed on them after the melee which occurred during the All-Ireland club JFC semi-final at Portloaise last month.

Tyrone champion Derrytresk, who defeated Dromid of Kerry in the game, have been the harder hit of the two. As well as eight suspensions, they have also been fined €5,000 in comparison to €2,000 for Dromid.

The Ulster Herald reports that four of the starting team for Derrytresk have been handed suspensions which will rule them out of he All-Ireland final against Clonbur from Galway on February 12.

Both clubs can appeal the punishment handed out by the CCCC. Tweet
