Tyrone's Ryan Mellon
Tyrone duo Joe McMahon and Ryan Mellon will deliver workshops at an Ulster Council conference.

The All-Ireland winners are among the star attractions at this month's eighth annual O'Neills Ulster GAA Coaching & Games Development Conference, which will focus on links with education.

The event takes place at Cookstown's Glenavon House Hotel on Sunday, January 28th and - themed 'Education and Club Links in GAA' - explores links between schools and clubs in the GAA as well as the role education plays in the development of gaelic games in the curriculum.

Stormont Minister for Education John O'Dowd is one of the dignitaries invited to attend by Ulster Council.

The focus group involves teachers and coaches working in education. Ulster Council president Aogan 0 Fearghail said in the Irish News: "Ulster GAA place a high priority on education at all levels. We in partnership with the Department of Education invest heavily in the promotion of physical literacy at primary school level and together employ 32 coaches who work with the county committees in the schools."
