Scor Sinsear:
Eglish Sports Hall hosted the semi-final of the Tyrone Scor Sinsear last Friday night with the home club participating in three events. The Ballad Group, comprising Leanne Daly, Fiona Jones, Louise Cassidy, Diane Daly and Peter McCann, put in a great performance and were very unlucky not to make it through to the final. The Novelty Act had better fortune as Jim Daly, Curry Murtagh, Angela McGrath, Paul Muldoon, Seamie Donnelly, Ciaran Donnelly and Eileen Daly all played their part in a comical sketch that really entertained the crowd. They made it through to the final as too did the Quiz team comprising Donal McAnallen, Cathal Daly and Gerard Jones. The final is being held in Killeshil on Sunday 21st February. Aside from the three events that Eglish competed in last Friday night, Ciaran Donnelly had participated in the Solo Singing section in the previous round but unfortunately had not made it through. Well done to everyone involved.
