Harte stays grounded

Tyrone manager Mickey Harte
Mickey Harte is refusing to get carried away with his young Tyrone side's excellent start to the season.
The free-scoring Red Hands hammered Fermanagh by 1-20 to 1-8 in Healy Park last night to book their place in Saturday's McKenna Cup final against Donegal, but the three-times All-Ireland winning manager warned: "It's dangerous to get too excited about it. We're enjoying it, and we know that it is the subsidiary competition, and we're just happy that we're doing well in it."
Harte is delighted with Tyrone's impressive scoring rate, adding: "That's probably the most pleasing thing about our performances again, that we're scoring plenty.
"And when you're scoring plenty, you're always a threat. And obviously if you can keep the door closed at the back pretty good, you're in with a great chance of winning games."
Last night's heavy defeat brought an end to Fermanagh's unbeaten start to the year, and their shell-shocked manager Malachy O'Rourke admitted: "It was a chastening experience for us, in fairness, but we'd like to think that maybe it was down to tired legs a wee bit as well."
