Mickey Harte believes one more win will preserve Tyrone's Division 1 Allianz League status for another year.

Harte reckons six points - his side currently have four points - from the Red Hands' last two games against Mayo and Kerry will keep them in the top flight.

"We always have good battles with Mayo but unfortunately the last number of games we've had, we came out on the wrong end of a very narrow defeat," the Tyrone manager is quoted as saying in the Irish Sun.

"We'd be hoping we can turn the tide. We have two games left now and certainly we would need two points out of those two games, I feel, to keep ourselves in Division 1, if that's not being over-optimistic.

"I think six points would keep you in Division 1 and that's our challenge. If we can get two of the last four points we would be very happy. If we get the four of them then we'd be happier than that again.

"We have to do the best we can to stay in Division 1 because that's the place to be, but we've always found Mayo a very difficult team to play against."
