Cahill on the cards for Portumna

Erstwhile Laois and Antrim hurling boss Dinny Cahill has linked up with defending All-Ireland club champions Portumna ahead of their bid to reclaim the Galway SHC crown. Beaten county finalists last year, Portumna will go with the Tipp native after new club chairman Jimmy Heverin invited Cahill to become coach for the coming year. Cahill succeeds former All-Star Sean Treacy in the hot seat.
