Former Tipperary All-Star Declan Browne is adamant that no time should be wasted on trying to cajole players to commit to the county's football cause.

After reaching the last four of this year's All-Ireland SFC race, Premier County football is on a high and Browne believes that only players who are 100% dedicated should be considered by Liam Kearns and his selectors in the future.

"Basically, we have to make sure we have everybody available to us as well and we need to start that process right now," Browne said on the Irish Examiner GAA Podcast.

"Ask guys if they're interested in coming in and if they're not we just forget about them.

"We spent five, six, seven weeks, even three months, talking about these guys that were missing  And in fairness to the lads that we had, how do you think that made them feel?

"So from the earliest stage it should be: 'If you can commit, great, we'll take you. And if you can't, grand, off you go and we'll go with what we have'."
