No jubilation in Tipp minor camp

May 21, 2015

Tipperary weren't in the mood to party after reaching the 2015 Munster MFC final.

Three late, late points saw the Premier County eclipse Clare by 0-16 to 2-9 at Semple Stadium last week to secure a provincial final meeting with Kerry on July 6th but manager Charlie McKeever told The Tipperary Star after the final whistle that his side must do better:

"There will be no major jubilation after this," he stressed. "We did not play as we wanted to play and we know that we will have an awful lot of work to do.

"We knew that Clare would be formidable opposition but we certainly didn't perform to our best and that disappoints me. A performance like that would not be good enough for the Munster final, so we have much to think about over the next few weeks."
