Eamon O'Shea says Tipperary's landslide win over Kilkenny "has no bearing" on what might happen in the remainder of 2015.

The Premier County recorded their biggest victory over the Cats since 1964 at Semple Stadium on Sunday but their manager insists nothing should be read into a result at this time of year:

"It was a game in March - take it for what it is," he comments in The Tipperary Star. "It has no bearing on what is to come later this year.

"The priority for us is to keep on improving. We are still evolving. We will be trying to win our next game and to get better every Sunday we play.

"Our lads worked very hard in the last couple of games and that consistency in performance is what is most pleasing."
