Hogan: Tipp dug deep

Coolderry manager Ken Hogan

Former Tipperary goalkeeper Ken Hogan was impressed by the manner in which the Premier County battled to the end in Sunday's epic All-Ireland SHC final.

Tipp reeled off the last three points to force a replay and Hogan writes in The Tipperary Star:

"The most heartening thing from a Tipperary perspective was how we dug so deeply and fought back with huge intensity and aggression.

"Our spirits never dampened and this must be a hugely positive signal for the development of this team.

"Woody and Shane McGrath again fought like trojans in the middle of the park and created the space for Bubbles and Noel McGrath to land magnificent scores.

"One key point in our overall performance was the composure shown by Seamie Callanan in hitting critical points when we needed them most.

"A great thumbs-up for the endless work and preparation by our astute management team."
