As they continue to gather momentum, Peter Creedon says his Tipperary football team will take beating.

Fresh from their magnificent win over Laois in O'Moore Park last weekend, the high-flying Premier County face Galway in Tullamore on Saturday week for a place in the All-Ireland series.

Creedon believes his charges can push on and extend their dream summer even further:

"We will try to push on and see if we can improve," he tells The Tipperary Star. "We are there now and we are going to take a bit of beating.

"In championship football, you have to keep digging up performances through the back door. There may come a day when we will struggle, but we will see.

"At the moment, we will just take everything that we can get."
