Tipperary boss David Power was delighted with his side's Munster MFC semi-final victory over Cork in Pairc Ui Chaoimh last night.
The Premier County's 1-10 to 0-9 victory keeps them on course to retain the provincial and All-Ireland titles which they won in sensational fashion last year. Their Munster final opponents will be Kerry, who they defeated by seven points in the first round in Tralee.
"Coming down to Cork and beating a well-prepared team is massive. Ephie Fitzgerald had them in great shape and they were super fit," the All-Ireland winning manager said.
"It was probably the toughest game we've played over the two years. It's a pity for Cork that they're out as I think they're one of the top eight teams in the country. It wasn't a pretty performance and we can play better football. Cork restricted us, though."
