Clonoulty held a four-point advantage entering the closing stages, but were almost caught by a late Eire Og rally. Jim-Bob McCarthy scored 0-6 as Golden-Kilfeacle defeated Aherlow by 0-10 to 0-8 at Bansha.
In the other game at Bansha, a dominant second half performance paved the way for Cappawhite's 1-20 to 0-14 victory over Kickhams. The sides were level 1-8 to 0-11 at the break, but it was all Cappawhite after the restart with former county star Eugene O'Neill and Jerry O'Neill scoring 0-14 between them. Tweet
