U21FC: Arravale and Loughmore-Castleiney progress
April 26, 2012
Arravale Rovers and Loughmore-Castleiney will meet in the Tipperary U21 'A' FC final.
They progressed to the decider with victories over Clonmel Commercials and Burgess respectively last weekend.
At Moneygall on Friday night, Loughmore-Castleiney booked their final ticket with a 0-11 to 0-4 defeat of Burgess in a very poor encounter.
The other 'semi' was much more exciting: holders Arravale showed their mettle as they battled to a brilliant 1-9 to 0-11 victory over Clonmel Commercials at Cahir on Saturday.
In a match that could have gone either way, with the sides level on five occasions, Bryan Lowry (0-5) struck the winning point deep into stoppage time.
David Heffernan hit 1-2 for the winners, who will start the decider as favourites.
