Ryan admits Tipp have work to do

Tipperary hurling manager Declan Ryan
Declan Ryan knows Tipperary have a lot of work to do ahead of the championship.

The Premier County looked worryingly out of sorts as they fell to Cork in their league semi-final at Thurles last weekend and manager Ryan told The Tipperary Star that they need to knuckle down.

Tipp face Limerick in a Munster SHC quarter-final in a month's time, so this is going to be an important four weeks for them before they put their provincial title on the line.

"We are very disappointed overall with concentration levels, with ball control, with the amount of energy we showed out there on the field," Ryan admitted regarding the display against Cork.

"We obviously have a lot of work to do going into the championship."
