Kerwick in shock return
August 26, 2010

Tipperary's Pat Kerwick
Pat Kerwick could yet feature for Tipperary in Sunday week's All-Ireland hurling final against Kilkenny.
The Killenuale half forward made a surprise substitute appearance in a challenge match against Galway champions Portumna at Semple Stadium on Monday night - a game which Tipp won by 3-30 to 1-22. A groin injury was expected to rule Kerwick out for the rest of the season, but it seems he is now on course to play some part in the All-Ireland final.
Fellow attackers Pa Bourke and Seamus Callanan also impressed in the challenge match which afforded fringe players with a final opportunity to impress manager Liam Sheedy before the Croke Park decider.
