Grants top three-quarters of a mil

GAA clubs in the Premier County have been allocated development grants totalling 784,060 euro.

The money was secured from Munster Council and Central Council and will be used for a variety of developments and improvements around Tipperary.

Work that's being funded includes dressing-rooms, developments, sanding and one purchase (Aherlow).

Welcoming the funds, Board chairman Barry O'Brien also expressed his disappointment that no funding was forthcoming for Dr Morris Park.
