Cashel King Cormacs 1-14 Emly 0-10 Cashel King Cormacs booked their place in the knock-out stages of this year's intermediate football championship with a convincing win over Emly at Golden last Saturday evening. Ironically, it was Emly who took in the lead at the break thanks largely to the scores of James Purcell and David Byrnes. However, within minutes of the restart Cashel drew level and opened up a commanding lead in the 50th minute when Willie Fitzelle crashed the ball to the back of the net.
