Tipperary and Waterford accounted for Clare and Limerick respectively in the Munster MFC last night.
Tipp made it three wins from three by overcoming Clare 2-10 to 1-8 at Páirc Naomh Mhuire. The Premier led by 2-4 to 0-4 at half-time thanks to goals from Patrick McDonagh and Dayle Hogan.
A Kevin Hanley major brought Clare back into it with 10 minutes remaining, but Tipp held on to maintain their perfect record.
A dominant first half performance laid the foundations for Waterford's 3-10 to 0-13 victory over Limerick at Lemybrien.
Goals from Paddy McCarthy and David Nyhan helped the Deise to a 2-9 to 0-4 interval lead before Joe Brennan raised a third green flag after the restart.
