London went under to IT Sligo in their first ever FBD league game played underlights on Saturday evening (Dec 7) at Ballinode.

The students lead by four at the break - 1-3 to 0-2. Galway dual star Danny Cummins, who featured in the full forward line with Donegal's Mark McHugh and Adrian Croal (Leitrim) got his sides goal with a superb effort giving the London 'keeper no chance.

IT Sligo pushed further ahead after the break and held an impressive 8 point advantage until corner forward Peter Atkinson goaled for the Exiles on 55 minutes.

London added two more scores to their tally but IT Sligo never looked to be in danger. Full time score: IT Sligo 1-10 London 1-4.
