St Mary's routed rivals Tourlestrane in the final of the Sligo U16 A Championship at Markievicz Park last weekend.

Mary's put up a phenomenal tally of 3-17 to run out 16-point victors on the day.

A dazzling first half display laid the foundations for the victory, with Mary's firing opening up a 1-10 to 0-0 lead before Tourlestrane restored some measure of pride with 1-1 in first half injury time.

Cian Breheny was one of the stars of the show for the winners, kicking 2-5 of his side's total, while midfielders Ben McGarry and Colm Egan were also singled out for praise. Tweet
