Saturday Morning Coaching
The Saturday Morning Coaching commences on April 10th 2010. Any player that didn't get a jacket last year can still get one if they contact Joe Campbell (086 8381270).

GAA Easter Camp 2010
The Easter GAA Camp 2010 will take place at St. Mary's sponsored by the Vodafone Ireland foundation. This is a national coordinated programme of skill development activities taking place in a positive playing environment. Giving children the opportunity to get maximum enjoyment from involvement in Gaelic games.
3-Day camps during the Easter holidays as follows:
Week 1: (March 30th - April 1st) Boys and Girls aged 7 - 10 years.
Week 2: (April 6th - April 8th) Boys and Girls aged 11 -14 years.
Qualified coaches and top GAA facilities. Each participant gets a free jacket. For more details and Application forms contact Liam Óg Gormley on 086 8254420 or Joe Campbell on 086 8381270.

Registration Night
The St. Mary's registration night was last week but there was a very poor turn out. Everybody must get their registration forms filled out ASAP, as a new directive from the GAA will not allow any club to play unregistered players for insurance reasons.

Summerhill College
Commiserations to the Summerhill College Senior side who were defeated by a slicker St. Gerald's side in the Connacht 'A' Final on Saturday last. Congratulations to St. Attracta's who captured the Connacht 'B' Title on the same day.

Minor
We have a back match against Tubbercurry on March 31st and the second half of the league commences on 22nd April away to Calry. Next training will be advised by Kevin Molloy.

U-16
We had a comprehensive win away to St. Farnan's on Sunday morning last in the first round of the league. We play St. John's on this Sunday morning in Kevinsfort (Throw-in 11.00am). Support would be much appreciated.

U-12
Its time to shake off the winter cobwebs and warm up for the upcoming Under 12 County League commencing in April. Training commenced yesterday and continues on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 - 7pm in Kent Park. Newcomers are welcome.






U-10
Last Friday night St. Mary's Under 10 team were pulled out of the hat a long with 7 other clubs to take part in half time matches during Sligo's home games in the Allianz National Football league. St. Mary's will be playing at the half time interval at the Sligo v Roscommon match on April 11th with Ballisodare, Drumcliffe/Rosses Point and Cloonacol. Also, the U-10 North Board leagues will be commencing on the 21st April 2010 on Wednesday evenings at 6.30pm. Training to start shortly, keep an eye on the St. Mary's website for details and the Sligo Champion.

Senior/Junior
The Senior side qualified for the Final of the Kiernan Cup following a defeat of St. Molaise Gaels at Kent Park on Saturday evening last on a scoreline of St. Mary's 0-15 St. Molaise Gaels 0-5. There were good performances from Caolan O'Grady, Michael Hanley and Glen Monaghan. The Division 2 League campaign gets underway this Saturday evening as the Seniors face Shamrock Gaels in Coola (Throw-in 5.00pm). We ask supporters to come out and get behind the team. Training continues on Tuesday and Friday evenings with all Senior and Junior Panellists expected to attend.

County Scene
The Sligo Senior side had a hard fought one point win over Offaly at Markievicz Park in the 4th round of the National Football League on Sunday afternoon last. Mark Breheny, Stephen Coen and Johnny Davey all started for Sligo. The Sligo U-21s face Galway in the Connacht Championship on Wednesday (today) in Tuam. Ronan Carter and Mark Herrity are part of the Squad and we wish them, the Team and Management the very best of luck.

New Arrival
Congratulations to Peter and Caroline Mullan on the birth of their daughter Elena last week. Peter won championships with the club in 1996 and 2001 and was a permanent fixture in midfield with our senior team from the early nineties to the 2005. Peter is still playing with Sligo RFC and has been one of their outstanding performers this season winning a number of man of the match accolades and we would like to wish Peter and the Sligo RFC the best of luck for the rest of their season.
