Competition holders Cork IT were dumped out by DCU today while hosts NUI Maynooth are also through to the last four.

Maynooth caused the surprise of the day by defeating home side Jordanstown by two points.

DCU saw off 2009 champions Cork IT while Athlone IT edged by IT Sligo by a point.

UCC got the better of GMIT at the Mardyke.
