Mulgrew tipped for Sligo role
August 28, 2008
Former Fermanagh manager Charlie Mulgrew has become the latest name to be linked with the vacant Sligo manager's job following Tommy Jordan's resignation.
Jordan stood down following a poor league campaign and the subsequent defeat to Mayo in the Connacht championship and the County Board has invited clubs to nominate a potential replacement.
Mulgrew, who lead Fermanagh to the All-Ireland semi final, three years ago has been mentioned along with former Roscommon minor manager Fergal O'Donnell as is ex-Rossies' senior manager John Maughan.
However, the county board have yet to begin the interviewing process, although it is expected that the position will be filled over the coming weeks.
