O'Donnell looking forward to replay

September 21, 2006
Roscommon minor manager Fergal O'Donnell believes that his side should have nothing to fear against Kerry in the All-Ireland final replay at Cusack Park, Ennis on Saturday, September 23rd. The Connacht side produced a magnificent performance to earn a draw against favourites Kerry in what was arguably one of the best All-Ireland minor finals in many years. However, many outside of the county believe that Roscommon may have blown their chance of glory, but O'Donnell has faith in his players to make sure of the job on Saturday. "Well we are glad to be in it. Once we can go in and give 100% again. The lads gave it everything and if we had lost (the drawn game) I couldn't be disappointed because they had left nothing behind," said O'Donnell. Roscommon have no injury worries ahead of the replay, while Kerry will also be at full strength after captain Paddy Curran was passed fit to play.
