Tipperary has three players on our football team of the week following their Semple Stadium heroics...

1. Brian Kelly (Kerry)

The Kerry netminder kept a clean sheet as they booked their place in this year's Munster SFC decider with a convincing victory over Clare.

2. Ciaran McDonald (Tipperary)

It was a day to remember for McDonald & Co as Tipperary bridged a 72 year gap in fantastic fashion when lowering Cork's colours.

3. Donal Keogan (Meath)

Tasked with the job of policing gifted Louth youngster Ryan Burns, the Meath captain came out on top in his personal duel.

4. Jamie Gonoud (Westmeath)

The determined Gonoud kept Offaly's Bernard Allen on a tight leash in the Lake County's minimum margin victory at Cusack Park.

5. Gordon Kelly (Clare)

The Banner County were no match for the Kingdom in Killarney but Kelly didn't go down without a fight.

6. Frank McGlynn (Donegal)

Although wearing the number six jersey, the 29-year-old operated on the '40' and his direct running caused plenty of problems for Fermanagh.

7. James Dolan (Westmeath)

Popped up for the match winning score to cap an impressive defensive display by the Garrycastle clubman.

8. Peter Acheson (Tipperary)

The Premier captain put the disappointment of missing an eight minute penalty behind him to play an influential role in a historic championship victory.

9. Odhrán MacNiallais (Donegal)

The stylish MacNiallais hit Fermanagh for 2-1 in Ballybofey as Donegal overcame the set-back of losing Neil McGee to a red card.

10. Cillian O'Sullivan (Meath)

The industrious half-forward enjoyed a fine championship debut for the Royals having been sidelined for the last two years with a back complaint.

11. Ciaran Murtagh (Roscommon)

When their backs were very much against the wall, the primrose and blues' captain led by example and slotted home 2-2 against Sligo.

12. Brian Fox (Tipperary)

Blitzed Cork with 1-1 within a minute and was also involved in the build-up to the Premier County's other two goals.

13. David Keenan (Roscommon)

The hard-working Keenan played a central role in Roscommon's comeback and topped off a polished performance with three points from play.

14. Pat Hughes (Sligo)

The Yeats County target man kicked five points from play against the Rossies and was also fouled for a penalty which Adrian Marren converted.

15. Stephen O'Brien (Kerry)

Clare couldn't cope with the Kenmare ace who finished the game with 1-5 to his name.
