Fermanagh 1-14
Roscommon 0-16

Fermanagh produced a Lazarus-like comeback at Brewster Park today to send Roscommon home with their tail between their legs.

Pete McGrath masterminded a memorable second-half comeback after the first-half went according to the pre-match predictions.

The Rossies retired with a 0-9 to 0-4 cushion but Fermanagh tore up the script in the second-half and snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.

Not for the first time this year, Sean Quigley emerged as the Ulster outfit's match winner as his injury time point decided the contest in their favour.

The team's talisman continued where he left off last week and finished the game with 1-3 to his name while Tomas Corrigan sent over five points.

The Ernesiders trailed by 0-8 to 0-14 when they were awarded a penalty which Quigley converted with 13 minutes left on the clock.

Yet, with 65 minutes gone, the host were four points in arrears and Roscommon appeared to be heading for the final 12.

Few in the Brewster Park attendance could have envisaged what happened next.

The men in green and white refused to throw in the towel and were rewarded with five points in-a-row in a sensational finish.

Corrigan set the ball rolling from a free and later landed a long range sideline ball.

Substitute Damien Kelly also got in on the scoring act before Quigley put the icing on the cake.
