Paddy Mulvey Function: A big thank you to all from near and far who came for Paddy Mulvey's night in the Bush Hotel last Friday. It was great to see so many there on the night. Paddy presented the Junior A team with their Northern medals for winning the Northern Junior A title earlier in the year. As Paddy said "we will keep the flag flying".

Roscommon U21s: Hard luck to the Roscommon u21s in losing the All Ireland final. They put in a fine display and gave us great enjoyment over the last few months.
New Square Ball Rule: From the 14th May the new square ball rule becomes operative. The rule has been amended to allow a player enter the small rectangle once the final deliberate play of the ball has been made, i.e. as soon as the player kicks, hand-passes, fist passes or deliberately flicks the ball into the small rectangle then the attacking player may enter. The rule is unchanged with regard to "Set Play" i.e. Free Kicks, Line Balls and 45s - in these instances players are not permitted to enter the small rectangle before the ball.
Shannon Gaels Ladies: Good luck to the Shannon Gaels ladies involved with the Roscommon U.14 girls in the Connacht A final against Mayo on Sunday 13th May. The U.12 girls will play Strokestown in Croghan at 7pm on Wednesday.
