Roscommon GAA supporter John Murphy is the new county sponsor.

Murphy, who has reportedly helped out the Roscommon County Board financially in the past agreed to the new sponsorship deal, despite having retired from business.

Roscommon jerseys will be adorned with the logo 'John & Lily Murphy Supports Hospice'. Mr Murphy is chairman of the Mayo/Roscommon Hospice Foundation and feels that this will generate publicity for hospice. Tweet
