The Annual Dinner/Dance was held in the McWilliam Park Hotel,Claremorris where the Under 14 (girls) Championship Winners from 1990 were honoured at the function. Entertainment on the night was provided by Midwest Radio D.J Seamus Duke. Special Guest on the night was Kildare footerball and former All-Star Dermot Earley, Presentations at the club function were made to the following people. Junior (A) Player of the year Martin Cummins, Junior (B) Darragh Markham,Under 21 Sean Markham, Ladies Player of the year Cathy Daly, Club person of the year Ann Grogan, Hall of Fame award went to Michael James Kelly.Special awards were made to Frank Neenan for his contribution to ladies football down through the years and also to Joe Neenan for all his help with the scrap metal collection during last year.Congratulations to all our award winners.
The Junior Division 4 League Final against Padraig pearses scheduled for last saturday was postponed due to the death of Michael Finneran who was president of the Pearses club.The Club would like to offer its condolences to the pearses club and in particular to the Finneran family RIP.Pl
