Pearses Club Notes
January 16, 2012The Under 12 Boys Medal Presentation took place on Friday night last. Winning Medals were presented for the Division 1 Spring League and Runner Up Medals were presented for Division 1 Summer League. Many thanks to all who attended and particular thanks to Pearses Minor County Stars for presenting the Medals namely Conor Daly, David Murray and Shane Carty.
Hurling and Football A.G.Ms
The Football AGM is due for next Friday Evening Jan 20th at 8.00 p.m. The Hurling AGM is fixed for the following Friday Night Jan 27th at 8.00 p.m. sharp.
Under 14 Hurling
The Under 14 Hurlers blow off the cobwebs early this year with their first game away to Roscommon Gaels last Sunday afternoon at Lisamult, in the Suck valley league. Pearses Set out their stall early on with a Cracker of a Goal from Mark Haynes, while latter in the first half, both Karl Feehily and Daniel Glynn netted with speculative long range efforts. The youthful Aaron McGreal also got in on the act with a rasper from close range. Roscommon Gaels did claw back a goal early on but with the solid defence line of Lorcan Daly, Paul Carey and both Oisin Kellys there was just no way back. Pearses Next game is in a Fortnight.
