An injury-time point from Ray Caslin proved the difference here as Kilmore edged by Clan na nGael and into the knock-out stages of the Roscommon senior football championship.

The game was nip and tuck all the way through and the teams were level on no less than nine separate occasions.

They went in all square at the break on 0-6 each, with Donie Shine doing most of the damage for Clan na nGael while the winners had their spread of scorers.

In the second-half, a Shine free restored his team to the lead, but scores from Caslin and Derek Connellan put the hosts in front.

That was the pattern of the game as Shine leveled the game again with his last free heading for injury-time, when Caslin popped up to break Clan na nGaels hearts. Tweet
