The curtain finally came down on our 2010 senior football campaign on sunday last in Croke Park. A journey that started out for some of us in Ballinode against Sligo It last January and brought us from Enniskillen to Drogheda to Ruislip to Castlebar and off course Hyde Park. We can now look back on this year with pride that we are now Connacht champions for 2010. On behalf of the supporters club i want to thank our manager Fergal O Donnell for the excellent commitment and dedication he has shown to this team. We also thanks his management team for their continued work with the team and we look forward to Fergal and the management team leading us into the future. We especially thank our senior football panel. To each and everyone of you we thank you for your dedication and work for the primrose and blue during 2010 and we look forward to following you into the future. We thank you for the memories of 2010 whicj are days we will never forget. Roll on the FBD league 2011!!

2010 Supporters Club Draw
Tickets are now on sale for our annual draw. As always tickets cost from 1 cent to €20 with each ticket costing a differnet price. We have a prize fund of €4000 with a 1st prize of €2000. Our draw takes place at the senior football county final in Roscommon in September. We would ask as many as possible of you to please take 5/10 tickets from us and sell them for us. We would appreciate this very much if you would make contact with us and let us know how many tickets you would be willing to take and sell for us. Surely each one of us know 5/10 people who would buy a ticket from us for the continued support of all Roscommon teams. You can reply to this mail or contact myself on 087-2420896. Thank you for your continued support. We covered the complete cost of the Connacht final day for our senior team and without your help selling tickets this would not have been possible.

2010 Awards
Now that our senior, U-21 and minor football campaign is over we invite you to log onto gaaroscommon.ie and nominate who you think should win our awards for 2010. Remember our awards night takes place on the 1st weekend in December 2010. More details will be announced later.

Club Championships
Our senior/Intermediate/junior football and hurling championships are now getting into action again and we wish all teams the best of luck. Remember you can nominate your club player of the year on gaaroscommon.ie.

U-21 Hurling Final
Our U-21 hurling team have qualified for the Connacht U-21 B final and we wish them the best of luck. The supporters club hope to be in a position to assist the team in the final.

Membership and Finance
Membership is still open and only costs €20 to join. To join contact [email protected]. The supporters club held 2 social nights last Friday night. It started in the hatch where speciual guests were Tony McManus, Pat Lyndsay and Seamus Hayden where a great night was had by all. Roscommon chairman Michael McGuire also joined us on the night. Then it was on to Sissy McGinty's in Castlerea where we were joined by Nigel Dineen and Brian Stenson. The nestor cup was also present on the night.

The supporters club are delighted to say that we covered the complete cost of the senior team for the Connacht final day in Castlebar. Without you our members working with us this would not be possible and we thank you for this.
