SENIOR LADIES CHAMPIONSHIP;
On a busy weekend for the ladies with 2 championship games first on Friday evening the girls had a narrow win over Roscommon Gaels on a score line of St Brigids 1-13 Ros Gaels 2-07. Playing into a strong breeze the girls were trailing by 5 points at the break. A good second half performance from the girls saw them record a 3 point win.

St Brigids 6-23 Oran 0-07 ;
After a close encounter on Friday the girls had an emphatic victory over Oran in Kiltoom on Monday. From the throw in the girls attacked and by half time led 5-10 to 0-01. The second half saw a similar level of performance to run out easy winners. Next game in 2 weeks against Kilbride.
HARD LUCK;
To the Roscommon senior team who gave a brave performance against a far more physical and experienced Cork side in Croke Park on Sunday.
