They say Goals win games and never was this more the case than in Kiltoom on Wednesday night in the first round of the Intermediate league, With St Brigids playing some excellent football at times and scoring some wonderful points from play we didn't deserve to be left empty handed at the final whistle. However the concession of some very soft goals at crucial stages of the game allowed the visitors to come away with the points. Overall this was a decent performance and If the lads can produce the same level of commitment and cut down on errors in defence better results will follow.

U-16 GIRLS
Our U-16 girls were beaten by a strong Pearses side in Woodmount on Sunday; all girls please attend training on Wednesday night at 7pm. Next Match Away to Saint Marys on Sunday 7th March at 5pm.
Senior Ladies
Senior Ladies reached the semi-finals of 7 a side tournament in Crossmaglen last weekend.
U-8 and U-10 GIRLS
Training starts on Tuesday night 2nd March at 7pm.
CARD GAME
Last weeks results joint 1st Patricia Staunton and Brian Fallon, Rose Nestor and Ann Hamilton, Michael Fallon and Bridie Shine, Enda McHugh and John Corcoran, Tony Ward and Aggie Grehan. Game continues each Tuesday night at 9pm in Curraghboy handball complex.
