Padraig Pearses Club notes

Under 16 ladies
The 1st round of the U16 Ladies Championship was played on Sun 28th Feb 2010 in Woodmount, the final score P.Pearses 2 - 08 to St. Brigids 0 - 02. All the girls played very well. Ranal Kelly was very solid at full back and Niamh Ryan at centre back, Ciara Murchadha - Flynn gave very good ball into the forward line, Danielle Kenny and Katie Kelly proved to much a handful for the St. Brigids backline.
Our next game will be a much tougher test away to Strokestown at 4pm next Sunday. Training continues in Woodmount on Thurs at 7pm

Condolences
Pearses GAA Club Wishes to extend its sincere condolences to the Duffy Family, Derryneil on The Death of Noreen Duffy, Ar Dheis De Go Raibh anam.

Hurling Coaching
A Hurling Coaching Course is being run in Pearses Clubhouse on March 12th and 13th anyone who may be involved in coaching should Contact Ciaran Doyle for details.

Referees
A Training Course for New referees starts in March Any Gentleman or Lady who is interested should forward their name to The Club Secretary or Seamus Clogher. There is a great onus on the Club to supply Referees across all levels and as many as possible are asked to apply.

Fixtures
The Junior Footballers are provisionally down to play Kilbride next Saturday evening at 8.00 pm in Kilbride

Lotto
The results of the Club lotto draw were as follows, Numbers Drawn 11,19,30,32. There was no winner and Three Match 3s, Jackpot stands at €7,800 for next week.
