Kilmore G.A.A. held a very successful American Tea party on Saturday night last in the Silver Eel pub. A great crowd turned out for what was a very enjoyable night. The club thanks everyone who attended on the night. Special thanks to everyone who hosted a table and prepared food. Also thanks to the staff of the Silver Eel for their help on the night. Anthony Carroll won the 2009 personality of the year award and Kevin Caslin was awarded the 2009 Player of the year award. Congrats to both winners. The January and February draws also took place on the night, the following were the winners January €300 Thomas Crowe €100 Gabriel Duignan, €50 Marty Burke, JJ Collins. February winners were €300 Derek Connellan, €100 Gerry Glynn, €50 John McPartland, JJ Collins. The minor teams game against Ballinameen was called off due to the weather conditions. The senior team begin their O Rourke cup campaign this weekend against old rivals Elphin in Elphin, Please check fixtures for day and time.
