Under 15 Hurling Final
Congratulation to our U-15 hurlers on winning the 2009 county’s final in Hyde park on Sat 13th February playing against a highly fancied Athleague/Tremore team Pearses had to be at their best to come out on top.
Ronan Daly had a very solid game between the points. The full back line of Jason Mannion and Conor Glynn were always in control and played great skill and determination.
Dominic Egan, Shane Naughton and Owen Glennon gave great cover and were the platform for theirs great success.
Cormac Clogher and Gavin Downey at midfield were excellent all through and both got in on the scoring act.
One of the highlights of the game had to be Darren Greens side line cut over the bar from 30 meters out. Ruraidhri Mc Manus on the forty players with great vision and linked up well with his teammates.
Greham Hendricks worked hard throughout and delivered great ball to the inside of line of Paul Dolan and Adrian Mannion who really were a handful for their opposite numbers.
Aiden Ward who travelled long distance to make the game replaced Don Egan Injury in the second shows that he has a keen eye for goal. Conor Fallon Tony Mc Egelly and Eoin Cogavin also played well when introduces panellists Adam Finnery Dean Mahon and Mark Naughton.
Shane Naughton our captain received the cup on the back of a great team performance.
Well done to all the lads management team and all who helped out during the year Paddy, Sean. Padraig, Joe, Gerry, John and Eddie.

Roscommon Ploughing Association
Will hold a meeting in Padraig Pearses Clubhouse on Wednesday 17th February at 8.30 p.m.
The Agenda will include the forthcoming ploughing championships to be held this year on Padraig Greenes Land

Golf Society
Padraig Pearses Golf Society AGM will be held in Pearses clubhouse on Fri 26th Feb at 9pm. Motions in writing to reach Willie O'Rourke on or before Sat 20th Feb.

Junior League
The Junior team had their first outing of the year last Sunday against a Youthful Elphin Team in Orchard Park, Elphin, dominated throughout and ran out easy winners.
Pearses will be hoping for a great improvement against Oran next Sunday in Oran.

Lotto
The results of the Club lotto draw were as follows, Numbers Drawn 4,13,14,30. There was no winner and one Match 3s, Jackpot stands at €7,400 for next week. Tweet
