AGM's The Football Board AGM will take place on Saturday 6th December in the clubhouse at 7pm sharp; the Minor Football AGM will follow this on the same night. The Hurling AGM will take place the following Saturday the 13th December at 8pm with the club AGM now taking place at the later time of 6pm on Sunday 14th December. The club Christmas Party Scór na nOg. Congratulations to all the young adults who took part in Scor na N-Og semi-finals in Ballyleague at the weekend. Padraig Pearses had entries in solo-singing, Ballad group, novelty act and quiz team. We had success in 2 categories our Quiz team and Novelty act. These now go forward to the county finals on Sunday 11th Jan 2009 in Elphin Community Centre. Quiz team was Anthony Butler, Conor Fitzgibbon and Andrew Phelan. Our Novelty act was "Lightening strikes"-Eoghan Costello, Eimear Costello, Maria Corcoran, Hubert Darcy, Grace Dooley, Aoife Hibbit, Alan Madden and Valerie Ward. Well done to all involved. Padraig Pearses Golf Society: Padraig Pearses Golf Society will have their Christmas Outing in Ballinasoe Golf Club on Saturday 6th December. The tee is reserved from 11am to 12.15 pm it will be Stapleford competition, a presentation will take place afterwards in the clubhouse at 4.30 pm and there will be numerous prizes.
