The Hillstreet Quarries sponsored U-21 team are due to play the re-fixed game against Kilbride this weekend, please check fixtures for time and day. The club wishes Kilglass Gaels the best of luck in the Connaught junior final this weekend. An important executive meeting will take place this Friday night at 9pm in the clubrooms. All underage players in the club should now have received their sponsorship cards for the sponsored walk, anyone who has not received one or wishes to take part in the sponsored walk please contact Brian Carroll(087-2420896) or Chris Gannon (085-1742512). The night at the dogs takes place on Saturday night the 29th of November in Mullingar. Tickets are ?50 and are currently on sale from all members of the executive. Included in the ticket is transport to and from the track, admission, race card and ?4 free bet and also the chance to win ?1,000. The club would urge all players and supporters to come out and support what is the major fundraising adventure for the club for 2008. The club wishes to extend its deepest sympathy to the family and relatives of the late John Glynn who died recently in Kilkenny after a short illness. John who was a regular visitor to the parish will be sadly missed by all who knew him but most of all by his family.
